What is Osteopathy?

Simply put, Osteopathy is here to get you better!

How do they get me better?

Osteopaths use knowledge of anatomy, physiology, nutrition, movement patterns, injury and exercise to help you get out of pain and feel better.

How do osteopaths know all this?

To become an osteopath in the UK, you have to study a four or five year degree and have over 1000 observed clinical hours to then be registered with the national body, the General Osteopathic Council. This insures that all osteopaths are capable, safe and insured. Many osteopaths have a background in other physical treatments before they qualified as osteopath. At Core Oxford, Patrick worked as a sports therapist for 5 years as well as being a strength and conditioning coach prior to becoming an Osteopath. Hannah combines her passion for water based rehabilitation with osteopathy.
